Inspired by the Mexican 'Dias de los Muertos' festival, a celebration of life and how wonderfully messy and beautiful it can be. Put together slightly different than painting a skull on a canvas, here the colour came first, as life is here before and after we're gone, with the skull transparently taking on what life throws its way. This piece was made on reclaimed wood for an added living rustic feel that really is part of the piece.
