My inspiration was my late husband ,along with his Marie Currie nurse who cared for him encourage me to have a break.So l joined a art group which brought solace and supportive new friends On his pasting I did not pick up a brush for many years Then I was inspired by my dear father .He was very creative and and a sculptor we shared our thoughts together on art and form .In later years we shared spiritually together and beliefs in the beauty of our natures wonders and he encourage me to paint again ,along with a long standing friend of many years for support .During this time I had not developed any particular style but again found solace .Then after my father pasting I continued to paint with him in mind, inspiring me to carry on .This is when my new found style was formed from a spiritual moment that occurred whilst playing with some new paints, and with know particular plan of what to paint. Then I felt my father present then I heard a voice ,trees set the scene as my father would say .So two trees I painted and never painted before .From that day forward everyday during COVID lock down I painted everyday and have now built a portfolio on my journey to share with others
