Biography
My mission is to help people reconnect with their creativity and discover the joy of making art. Inspired by nature, wildlife, and vibrant colours, I guide participants in well-being-led workshops, creative art classes, and mindfulness through art to explore self-expression, embrace their perspectives, and find emotional well-being.
In my Hunningham, Warwickshire studio, I run painting workshops for adults, using acrylics, pastels, charcoal, inks, and mixed media on canvas and paper, all provided. Each session encourages experimentation, play, and personal exploration.
My artistic journey blends abstract and figurative painting, landscapes, flowers, and animals such as horses and birds of prey. I also offer art commissions, creative retreats, and corporate workshops, inviting everyone to embrace their inner artist and celebrate the joy of creative self-expression.
inspiration
My artistic inspiration comes from a mix of the artists I loved as a child and my passion for wandering into the countryside, climbing trees, and watching wildlife. Each artist I admire carries a little bit of magic, which I blend into my own work to help me discover my unique voice.
Edgar Degas inspired me to observe life from a fresh, shifted perspective. Gustav Klimt drew me to pattern, texture, and the brilliance of gold. Turner taught me to embrace energy, emotion, and the raw power of storms. Hilma af Klint was a groundbreaking visionary, pioneering abstract forms that imagined the future.
By combining these influences with my love of nature, movement, and the spirit of animals, I create a practice that is personal, expressive, and deeply connected to the world around me.

I love trying everything and mixing it up, building layers and layers in my work — each one helping me tell a story, from the beginning to the end of the creation. Sometimes I start with just a horse or a fox and let the story unfold naturally, adding new colours, textures, and materials along the way. It’s about play, exploration, and the joy of making a mess, allowing intuition to guide each piece and creating work that is uniquely alive.
