Mandala Art

Biography

I paint empty bottles to make the best out of the waste. My aim is to make the space we live in & the place around us have a sensory soothing ambience and elevating aura by having artistically beautiful decorative objects around which are both stimulating and attractive.

I paint on bottles of different shapes and sizes and small canvases for home decor. The designs are based on folk art which brings out different cultures and also other designs like floral, geometric, Moroccan, scenery etc.

I also make handmade greeting cards and embroidered handkerchiefs which gives a personal touch.

inspiration

The beauty of nature, the colourful landscape, the varied hues of the sky, the sea, the mountains and nature inspires me to paint them.
I am also intrigued by the different kinds of Folk Arts like Madhubani painting, Warli painting and other art forms like Mandala Art, Doodle Art, etc and paint them as well.

medium

For glass bottles and canvas I paint with acrylic.
For handmade greeting cards I use acrylic, water colour and crayons.
