Biography
My mission and vision are to create unique, long-lasting pieces that will project strength, peace and harmony and can be passed down through generations.
I would like my creations to stand out and be an empowerment tool that makes a strong statement and expresses the wearer’s originality and personality.
It is important for me to source raw materials ethically, to aim for zero waste during the process and to use recyclable packaging.
inspiration
My inspiration comes from historical periods such as Middle Ages, fictions from that era, but also from the semi-precious stones themselves. I strive to showcase their qualities through my silversmithing skills and designs.
Since I accept custom work, my inspiration is also influenced by my clients’ ideas and stories, producing personal, meaningful pieces.
medium
I use a variety of metals such as Sterling Silver, Fine Silver, Bronze & sometimes Brass and Copper. Traditional silversmithing techniques are employed to cut, melt or solder the various metals together and secure the gemstones.
I love using smooth or faceted cabochons from the Feldspar family, but I collect other types of crystals that I am attracted to, because of their interesting textures, patterns or colours, and can offer them for custom work for pendants, earrings or rings.
I work from my little workshop at home, in Long Lawford, near Rugby. I enjoy learning new methods and extend my knowledge by any means.
