Biography

Stella strives to create original compositions capturing the drama and beauty of the natural world. She is constantly challenging herself to push the use of colour and light in her work.

Stella's work is inspired by a passion for wild places, and motivated by a need to raise awareness about habitat loss and to support conservation.

medium

Stella has been a pastel artist for 25 years. The vibrant, saturated colours and blending style of the medium have allowed her to develop a process which creates detailed but bold images with realism and movement. Stella has recently embarked on a journey to transfer this knowledge into oil painting, marking a new phase in her artistic development.
