Biography

My mission is to create well-crafted, hand-folded origami pieces that celebrate skill, material quality and quiet design.

My vision is to present origami as a contemporary handmade practice that sits between art and design — accessible to the public, yet thoughtful enough to be collected. Through consistent making and careful presentation, I aim to build a recognisable body of work and continue sharing it through well-curated markets, galleries and art-led events.

inspiration

I’m deeply inspired by the intricate beauty of Japanese patterns in origami. Each design reflects a rich cultural heritage that resonates with me.

The textures of different papers excite me; their weight and feel transform with each fold, creating a unique tactile experience.

Drawing inspiration from Zen moments, I strive to infuse calm and mindfulness into my art. The delicate process encourages me to appreciate beauty in simplicity. Through my creations, I hope to share this sense of peace and inspire others to discover the joy and elegance that origami brings to everyday life.

medium

I use premium origami and washi paper sourced from Japan, chosen for their vibrant colours and unique textures. Each piece of paper is carefully selected to highlight the intricate details in my designs, ensuring that every fold showcases the artistry of origami. The process involves skillful and precise folding techniques, allowing me to bring the beauty of the paper to life.
