Biography
Roseanna specialises in capturing animals and beloved pets on canvas. She has cherished memories of growing up with my two family dogs and knows personally what a profoundly positive impact pets can have on your life and enjoys connecting with people who share that experience. Specialising in pet portraiture means every time she paints she can pay tribute to that special bond between an owner and their pet - which is a beautiful thing to capture.
inspiration
Roseanna graduated with a degree in Fine Art from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design back in 2013. Since then she has been honing her skills and searching for a style which would combine her love of painting and sculpture. The eureka moment came in 2017 when she relented and listened to her Dad's advice to swap her paint brushes in for palette knives; She picked up her first palette knife and was inspired to create a Palette Knife Pets series which helped her art career take off. There is a lesson to be learnt here... sometimes listen to your parents!

Roseanna loves to use palette knives and oil paints to create a bold, sculptural surface of thick paint. The result is a unique style of animal and pet portrait, one that celebrates colour, texture and character.
