Biography
To bring together working items from the past which retain an intrinsic design quality and fuse them together into a new displays or "Assemblage" Not only preserving the object (for example a forties cine projector) but enhances it with the use of quality woods and shaped polished acrylic. Combined with high quality LED lighting globes (bulbs) to offer a illumination of the display and also practical use within the home giving attractive atmospheric effects.

The items I source for example 50' & 60's photographic equipment or brass instruments are evaluated as to their present condition before restoration work is applied.Sometimes part of the items is selected to be used. Any ancillary parts are retained for possible use in static displays like the "vibots" miniature vintage robots. From the selection of hardwoods I retain, a base or surround is chosen along with acrylic shapes to highlight and mount the item.I incorporate threaded rod, brass bolts and dome nuts to create the final display. My items are PAT tested so part of the design process includes ensuring this requirement is met
