Biography

My mission is to create everyday moments of joy. In the busy and sometimes overwhelming world we live in, finding small things that make us smile can have a huge impact. Everything I design is made to bring happiness and a smile to the purchaser or recipient. Whether it’s writing a thoughtful card to a friend, enjoying a favourite cuppa in one of our mugs, or displaying some beautiful art in your home. I believe these little gestures can mean so much and can truly make someone's day happier.

inspiration

I’m a very visual person and draw inspiration from the world around me every day. I love colour and often find ideas in beautiful colour combinations, whether I’m visiting a new place or simply walking through Leamington. I’m passionate about interiors, colourful homes, and fashion, all of which influence my work. Many of my children’s designs are inspired by my two little ones, Ophelia and Reuben, and I’ve also been shaped by my mum, who has a wonderful sense of style and a great eye for design.

medium

I create much of my work digitally using Procreate, which gives me the flexibility to design alongside raising young children and running a business. All of my lettering and illustrations begin as hand-drawn pen sketches before being developed on my iPad. Alongside this, I love producing bold, graphic canvas paintings for our colourful home. For the show, I will be exhibiting a range of acrylic paintings on canvas boards, each finished in a vibrant, hand-painted frame. I’m drawn to acrylics for their thick texture and bright colour, often balanced with softer pastel details for contrast.
