Jane’s mission is to create vibrant, symbolic wildlife art that acts as a quiet messenger, inviting people to reconnect with nature, intuition, and the deeper meanings woven through the natural world. Through colour, detail, and recurring symbols, her work aims to offer comfort, reflection, and a sense of belonging.
Her vision is to build a body of work where animals, insects, and natural elements are seen not only as subjects, but as spiritual guides and storytellers. She seeks to create focused, intentional collections that use bold colour and symbolism to evoke emotion and connection.
Through her work, Jane hopes to encourage slower looking, deeper feeling, and a renewed appreciation for the wisdom of nature, creating art that people live with, return to, and find personal meaning in over time.
inspiration
Jane is inspired by the natural world and the quiet symbolism woven through it. Wildlife, insects, and seasonal landscapes form the foundation of her work, not only for their beauty but for the deeper meanings they carry as spiritual messengers and guides.
Her inspiration is rooted in a lifelong connection to nature in Wales, where time spent observing animals and small details, particularly insects, shaped her sensitivity to the unseen rhythms of the natural world. Recurring symbols such as ladybirds, bees, and hares appear throughout her work, reflecting themes of protection, intuition, transformation, and belonging.
Jane is also inspired by colour as an emotional language. She uses bold, vibrant palettes to evoke feeling, energy, and reassurance, allowing each piece to communicate on both a visual and intuitive level.
Ultimately, her work is inspired by moments of pause, those quiet encounters with nature that offer comfort, guidance, or recognition at exactly the right time.
