Biography

Art has given me a way to honour the natural world - capturing the beauty and wonder of wildlife and inspiring deeper connections and action for its protection.

My art has become a force for positive change, whether through donating pieces or contributing a portion of profits to global wildlife conservation initiatives.

One of my proudest achievements has been combining my passion for wildlife, dogs and art to celebrate the remarkable stories of conservation detection dogs. These rescue dogs have found love, purpose and joy tracking endangered species and making vital contributions to conservation worldwide. Honouring their legacy through art shines a light on their critical role in protecting our planet.

My vision is for art and conservation to work together, creating hope for a future where wildlife thrives.

inspiration

Animals are the beating heart of my art. I’ve been fortunate to travel the world seeing animals in their natural environment. This is my inspiration for creating wildlife art.

My pieces often capture special moments and stories from my travels watching gorillas, big cats and more in their natural habitats as well as beautiful British wildlife closer to home.

I’m also privileged to create pet portraits. It’s humbling to hold space for someone else’s joy, love or even their grief.

In many ways it feels like the most natural thing to have become an animal artist.

medium

I create mostly using either pastels or coloured pencils but also enjoy exploring new mediums.

I capture the soul and spirit of animals in colour or black and white. My style is realism, rich in soft details.
