Biography
My jewellery is made using traditional silversmithing techniques, reworked for a modern, street-led aesthetic. Every piece starts the traditional way sterling silver, hand tools, heat, and time — but the designs are contemporary, minimal, and grounded in real life. This is where heritage craft meets modern design.
These handmade techniques have been used for generations, and I keep them deliberately visible in the final work. Tool marks, texture, and organic movement aren’t polished away — they’re part of the design. They give each piece its character and individuality.
The result is jewellery that feels balanced — organic but intentional, raw but refined.
As each piece is shaped by hand, no two are ever exactly the same. The silver responds differently every time it’s worked, and I let that guide the final shape rather than forcing it into uniform perfection. What you wear is a one-off, made slowly and with purpose.
These pieces are designed for everyday wear. They’re strong, comfortable, and made to age well. Over time, the silver develops a natural patina, picking up subtle marks that reflect how it’s worn.
It’s jewellery that evolves with you, becoming more personal the longer you own it.
My jewellery is raw, organic, and beautifully shaped by hand, Each piece is made from recycled sterling silver, embracing texture, movement, and imperfection.
inspiration
The sea and the land inspire a modern take on traditionally made silver jewellery by offering forms that are both timeless and ever-changing. From the sea come softened shapes, erosion, and fluid movement—polished edges, hollowed forms, and surfaces worn smooth like pebbles or shells. From the land come structure, weight, and texture—root-like lines, stratified layers, and raw, uneven finishes reminiscent of rock and earth. When translated through traditional silversmithing techniques such as hand-forging, casting, and oxidation, these natural influences create jewellery that feels organic and contemporary while honouring ancestral methods. The result is work that celebrates the dialogue between refinement and rawness, movement and stillness, capturing nature’s quiet balance in silver.
medium
I mainly work with silver and copper because they are expressive metals that respond clearly to the hand, allowing texture, irregularity, and process to become visible within each piece.
I use silver is for its ability to reflect light and hold fine surface detail, helping to emphasise form and structure. Copper’s warm, earthy tones connect my work to rock, soil, and weathered terrain. Its natural oxidation and patination mirror the ageing of natural surfaces, making time an important element in the finished piece.
By combining silver and copper, I explore contrast and balance between refined and raw surfaces.
