Biography

My aims are to create captivating compositions which draw the viewers eye through the paintings that I produce by breaking down elements into patterns, and leading the eye from one object to the next, using line, colour and form.

inspiration

I am inspired by my observations of the everyday, which I hope capture a moment in time. I record a range of subject matter, such as landscapes, both rural and urban scenes, enjoying the juxtaposition of new and old, natural and synthetic, still life and figurative.

medium

I use a variety of media in my work. I predominantly use acrylics, sometimes combining them with other media such as papers and fabric to add depth and texture to make vivid and complex compositions.
