Biography
My aim is to engage the viewer through complex compositions of the everyday. By using a family tree of colour within a single painting and combining it with line, shape and form the painting can be read as whole and be pleasing to the eye.
inspiration
I am inspired by everyday life, particularly when it involves figures. Sometimes my work does not include people, but they may have had an impact upon the scene.
medium
I use predominately acrylic but also use oil and mixed media. My approach is to build layers to create outcomes with depth and intense depth of colour.
