Biography

My work aims to bring a sense of joy and wonder to the everyday and revolves around a love of texture, vibrant colours and embracing the happy imperfections that come from combining digital and analogue techniques. It’s my hope that the charm of my illustrations can cut through during life’s difficulties.

inspiration

My creative style is influenced by the nostalgia of vintage ephemera and mementos, with a particular soft spot for old postal stamps.
Raised in Ireland, I am also inspired by the beauty of the Irish landscape and a lifelong love of all things botanical. A love that continues as a Leamington resident, through the gorgeous local parks and countryside.

I consider myself a mixed media artist with a particular love for drawing and painting. Most of my work begins life in a sketchbook before being scanned and transformed into a more print friendly form. Risograph print is current favourite way to create work as I am drawn to its tactile quality and the unexpected results that come from layering colours
