Biography
The mission of my work is to promote linocut printmaking, for my work its a superb medium for industrial and urban landscapes
As well as using other mediums such as watercolour, oil pastels and sketching for my work.
To show that many mediums are worth investigating to represent a subject in different ways
inspiration
My inspiration is drawn from recording the urban and industrial landscape, with our heritage and new industries .how heavy industry shaped towns and where new green industries have started taking their place
Where my studio is a prime example ,based in Longport ,Stoke on Trent, it overlooks the Trent and Mersey Canal, and the now derelict Price and Kensington Teapot Factory, and has pockets of the ceramic and boat building industries all the way down the canal.

My main medium is Printmaking, mostly in Lino, but also in Etching and Silk Screen
Especially enjoying lino as the hand crafted feel of producing print work using it , really appeals to me .
the uncertainty of what will be produced, and the feeling when you pull a good print
