Biography

Creating beautiful, unique and functional art for the home while showcasing the incredible versatility of British wool. I love to collaborate with other makers to finish my work completely one off and totally handmade details, wether that's a unique frame, a one off lamp base or a handmade hook or handle on a piece of up cycled furniture.

inspiration

I take inspiration from the landscape and wildlife around my rural home in Lincolnshire, as well as having a large community of fellow artists who work together and inspire each other

medium

I work entirely with wool, creating framed art featuring British flora and fauna.
Early on I also became intrigued with finding functional ways to use my art, the most successful being my original needle felt lampshades. My small pieces of furniture, incorporating my felt art, are also always very eye-catching and quick to find homes.
Recently I have been focusing more on my framed art, creating bigger and more detailed pieces and playing with the interaction with the frame, adding 3d elements to bring the pieces outside the frame.
