My work aims to use the absurd and surreal to add joy to the viewer

inspiration

I try to create pieces that will spark joy with silly possibilities. The idea of Fashionable Fruits was a monthly prompt for the year of 2024 and has brought many laughs and giggles to myself and passers-by.

Predominantly using watercolour paints to create a pastel colour palette, I then use ink to create detail and line work for my art pieces. Layering of the watercolours adds shadow and definition and allows for layering of patterns and textures to bring my pieces to life.
