Biography

I have a passion for British heritage crafts and making them relevant to modern life.

inspiration

I’m inspired by the traditional blacksmith’s art of forging, while also taking the time to ensure each piece is well finished and ‘refined’.
I welcome commissions for restoration and repair to avoid items being unnecessarily discarded.

medium

I work mainly with steel to create practical and artistic pieces, often inspired by nature. I experiment with different techniques to create delicate and intricate forms not usually associated with traditional blacksmithing. I’m also a bladesmith, forging Damascus steel to make chef’s knives.
