My work concentrates on the natural world and showing how precious it is. I often use golds and rich colours in my paintings depicting beauty. I believe that gold is often associated with compassion and love, which is what I hope the viewer can see in my work. The gold also represents a material glamour and grandeur, I try to show that people can live without objects but we can not live without nature.
I really feel that putting both on one painting highlights just how magnificent wildlife is and pushes the animal to the forefront.
