Biography

I am drawn to the idea of adornment as storytelling, the way an object worn close to the body can carry history, meaning and emotion.

inspiration

My jewellery is inspired by the visual language of the past. I am fascinated with imagery from the Byzantine period to the Georgians and Victorians.

medium

I create work using the wax casting method. My work is cast in brass and often set with a variety of different stones. For some pieces I work in enamel and also use enamel paints and resin.
