Biography

I aim to transform everyday scenes into vibrant art through thread, bringing the viewer into each scene as though they were there, pushing the boundaries of machine stitched art as I go! My vision is to share the joy of my lifelong passion with others, offering a unique perspective on the world through the expressive details of machine stitched thread.

My work is deeply inspired by seasonal themes and everyday scenes that viewers can relate to, focusing on the fine details that bring these moments to life.

medium

I specialise in free motion machine embroidery, a technique where I use the sewing machine needle as a pencil to 'draw' intricate details in thread. My process often incorporates fabric appliqué to add texture and an almost 3D appearance, with added acrylics for extra colour and shading.
