Biography
My mission is to create high quality and stylish, quirky and unusual pieces of art at a cost that is attainable for the customer. I enjoy ordinary people being able to have fun collecting various pieces of my artwork to decorate their walls. My vision is to grow my collection and to be able to collaborate with my clients by listening to their suggestions and filling any further gaps in the market.
inspiration
My inspiration is drawn from vintage travel posters, screen printed film posters, mid century advertising.
Retro fashion illustration also contributes to the look and style of my work. I like to create pieces that are unique, quirky and unusual and have some kind of connection to the buyer.
medium
I like to evoke old fashioned screen printing from a pre-digital age. I use watercolour to create a vibrancy and luminosity. All my linework is done in traditional pen and ink. I then create high quality pigment prints on archival paper from the original artworks in A4 and A3, selling them framed and unframed.
