Biography
I am a Intuitive artist and I live in Warwick. I paint with watercolours and mix media.I found solace in painting everyday day during lockdown when COVID hit us all for those who had to stay a home .During this time a spiritual moment occurred with my late farther and for the first time developed a style of painting, I had never done before.I love the the beauty of natures surroundings ,with its landscape, trees ,form and textures of our land
inspiration
My first inspiration was my dear late husband.When encourage by his Marie Currie nurse to go out out .Hence I joined a local art group in my forties for the first time since school !! I found immense solace support and absorbed mentally and good for my well being ,along with my husband looking forward to my return on my efforts.Sadly when he pass away.My paint brush was never use again for many years and not without trying .This time by a dear friend, said try again and joined another group along with my dear friend beside me .To my delight I found my love of painting again.This time my mission and inspiration was for me with my my dear Husband and Farther watching over me .
medium
My medium is mainly watercolours and some mixed with other mediums such as Acrylic ink .Also what ever I can gather from nature surroundings and pick up to make markings to add textures to the fore ground ,such as feathers ,twigs ,leaves and anything you see that will give dept to my painting in a organic way
