My mission and vision is to bring a smile to people’s face when they look at my painting. I want my paintings to remind them of a place that they visited, or of a loved one, or a special time of their life. I want my paintings to transport the audience to happy, colourful place. I would like to think of my paintings as therapeutic and relaxing to the audience. I want my art to be authentic and original. I want my art to connect with people, so that when they buy my art they think I am telling their stories, not mine
Being originally from West Bengal, India, my art is inspired by my childhood, day to day lives, mythological and folk tales that I grew up hearing.I love mixing traditional Madhubani designs with some modern elements. I am inspired by all the colourful things around me, nature, love and relationships.
I mainly use gouache and pigment ink for my painting on watercolour paper . But as my style evolves and I am experimenting more with different mediums as pencil shading etc. I do a little bit of digital illustrations as well.
