To capture and translate the joy to be found in a time and place and transform it it into art that can transport you back at any time.

Driven by the principle to love what you do and do what you love, Sandy creates vibrant work that reflects her love of travel, colour and an adventurous lifestyle.

Sandy creates art to add colour and joy, to brighten your mood and make you feel good.

inspiration

I like to immerse myself in and capture the joy of a moment, taking a mental photograph and recreating with fresh inspiration in acrylic or collage on canvas.

Sometimes we need to put our own spin on the world. What is right in front of us can be so much more colourful if you choose to see it and remember it that way.

I choose to remember and depict places by how they made me feel. Uplifted. Inspired. Happy. Alive. Grateful.

I work with Acrylics and mixed media on canvas.

I love working with layers, using paper and paint to build up depth and texture that depicts the essence of a time and a place.

Nature has always been my go to place to retreat and find solace, and capturing the essence of a moment experienced in nature allows me to revisit and feel the moment again at any time.
