To colour and pattern cloth and paper, using only flowers , leaves and bark. To handcraft the printed materials into beautiful wearable art, wall art, and home textiles. To work in a sustainable and environmentally aware fashion, upcycling textiles where possible, and growing my own plant material. To share these techniques so that they may enjoy the fascinating world of ecoprinting

The colours and patterns I can create are dictated entirely by what the leaves offer me. I work seasonally, with whatever fresh foliage is available, letting the shapes of the leaves influence my designs, and the colours they offer influence my palette.
leaves lend themselves naturally to pattern making, and I am inspired by artists who use ornate pattern and detail in their work, especially when depicting garments - Gustav Klimt is a strong influence

Natural fabrics such as wool silk and linen, often recycled. Coloured and printed entirely with foliage and natural dyes. Embellished with hand stitch.
