Biography

The vision for my work is to celebrate the familiarity in the landscapes around me, exalt the common place and everyday in nature and show how simple changes in light and focus can dramatically transform the views we see everyday.

inspiration

Inspiration comes from many sources, a respect and love for the natural world taught to me by my parents, a delight in seeing the everyday in a new light and a natural curiosity and concern for the landscapes around me.

medium

I mostly work in paint and mono print techniques to create a textured multi disciplined surfaces but I have also started to translate my images onto textiles
