My main focus is functional ceramics predominantly using porcelain and black stoneware clay and mainly working on the potters wheel.

When making new one-off or small batch items - whether handbuilding or on the wheel - I often have an idea in my mind as to a form that I wish to achieve, and I allow the making process to be quite fluid, by assessing and adjusting my make as I progress. I will stop making when the form looks and feels right.
