Windsor Changing of the Guard
Biography
This year I'm especially looking into the theme of 'Favourite things'. So much of what we do and whom we interact with is based upon our favourite past times, activities and locations. I want to make everyone look and smile in recognition of what they love. The collection has been really well received since it was started three months ago.
inspiration
Themes of interactions with others or animals that make life fulfilling. I'm creating a series of works on themes such as music, dance, sports, animals and interactions. I'm also working on favourite places - so some local architecture scenes will feature.
medium
I'm working on art work in Lightfast ink on Two Rivers Paper (Paper water mill and by hand in Somerset.) The Ink work has a nod towards Japanese and Chinese ink art. Fundamentally in Dark Blue/ Teal / Purple. Each art work is framed in floating style with professional wooden frames and specialist art glass.
