Biography
Emma describes herself as an illustrator and maker of monsters- looking at Emma's work, is like taking a little trip into her world- which is a fun magical place with colourful drawings and handmade monsters that aim to make you smile and fill you with joy.
inspiration
Emma has been making monsters for over 15 years- and at this point, it's the joy that they bring to people, young and old that buy them which is her main inspiration and motivation.
Emma has monster collectors, that love to visit and buy a new monster each year, and people that discover her work for the forst time, and become fans and members of the "monster club"
With her illustration work, Emma's inspiration comes from the monsters that she makes, from family and friends, music and her other passion- swimming.
Swimming, (particularly outdoor swimming) plays a huge part in Emma's illustration work.

Emma creates her monsters using hign quality, faux furs and velvety soft velours and fleeces.
Her illustration work is created in a traditional way using pen and ink and watercolour.
Many of Emma's illustrations are available as original pieces, with some as prints or cards. And she is always happy to undertake commissioned illustration work or made to order monsters
