Layers of knowledge built up from a lifetime of learning and loving art. An evolution of working in many styles and mediums, that have always led me back to dance with all my work referencing movement and the human form. Dega used to say that sometimes not drawing is drawing. Using the negative space is just as important and many artists have inspired what is now, uniquely, thirteen birds. A handful of artists from Yves Kline, Jackson Pollock, Chagall, Caravaggio and Mondrian are all inspirations of mine that have helped create how the collection has come together.
