Biography
I am an award winning filmmaker and mixed media artist. I mainly create paper and digital collages and sometimes produce paintings using acrylics. I studied fine art at Coventry University between 2000 - 2004, drawing inspiration from a huge variety of artists and filmmakers.
inspiration
Literature, movies, fine art, mythology, the paranormal and amusing or poignant observations of life are my main themes. I am also interested in creating works which are satirical, lyrical, interpretive and thought provoking.
medium
For my digital collages, I photograph and collect a variety of textures and images which I then use as the material for my work. I create images that vary in style, from classic collage aesthetic to more photorealist works. In many of my works, I hand draw elements, which I photograph, scan and composite into the canvas.
