Biography

I consider the art that I create hopefully puts across the message of the fragility of our planet and how nature and eco system of it is so important. By using my signature/medium material of 'cans' I add in the importance of recycling and how we don't need to keep sucking away at the planets resources.

inspiration

As you can tell I'm passionate about the environment, insects and animals which are under threat far more than ever before with the increase in population, industrialisation and meeting the needs of the human race. Inspiration comes from nature and the way we live our lives and the trappings of life.

medium

My creations are handcrafted using a mixed media base but my main media is repurposed drinks cans. I'm constantly trying to push the boundaries of traditional and modern art techniques with the cans. Such a simple discarded item, the humble drinks can holds infinite possibilities to be crafted into something beautiful. Just like the aluminium itself which can be recycled forever. I'm quite often now called 'The Can Artist'
