I am a Madhubani artist. Madhubani is an ancient art form originated in Northern part of India. I love mixing the ancient art form with modern elements while keeping its authenticity intact. I love to paint pictures about love, family, day to day lives, as well as tackle social issues that we are facing in today's world with my art. I want my colourful art to bring joy to people's lives and spread happiness all over.

My inspiration is my childhood that I spent in a small town in West Bengal, India and the stories and folklores that I grew up listening to. My primary focus is on the small joys of life, family and friendship.Lately I have been inspired by various social issues and have been working on them.

I mainly use gouache and ink on paper and occasionally acrylic on wood and other surfaces. I love the vibrant hues of gouache and acrylic. I love to paint highly detailed paintings with various patterns.
