Ruth Mary's mission is to create luxury fine jewellery and silverware which tells a personal human story and will be handed down as heirlooms from generation to generation. Her mission is to become a globally recognised designer, who's work will carry the prestige of Faberge in 100 years time. Longterm value is at the heart of Ruth Mary's designs, so that one day her customers children and grandchildren may see a dramatic increase in the value of the jewellery bought today.

Ruth Mary takes visual inspiration from couture embroidery and traditional lacemaking, along with the sculptural nature of Regency architecture. Yet the meanings behind her precious metal lace jewellery often starts with her customers story. For example when a customer has been through intensely difficult times, fought on and come out the other side, their story becomes inspiration for the feel of a bespoke jewellery piece that represents part of who they have now become.

Ruth Mary Jewellery is best known for hand stitching her own lace designs and transforming them into pieces of precious metal jewellery in gold, silver and platinum, before setting an array of diamonds, sapphires and other gemstones. Couples can commission unusual wedding and engagement rings and even gold lace bridal jewellery to match the lace on her wedding dress. Ruth Mary also uses customers own gold and gemstones for sentimental pieces of jewellery, sometimes keeping elements of the original design.
