Biography

Please bear with me, I find it difficult to champion my own work but I’ll try! My main catalyst for putting paint to paper is to give joy to those who commission my work or buy one of my original pieces. My goal is to capture memories or moments that will be cherished for years to come.

inspiration

My inspiration for my work comes primarily from my passions – animals and the natural world, classic cars and motorsport, my friends and family.

medium

I use watercolour. My technique is a little unconventional but feel this has contributed to my having cultivated an original style. I am keen to build layers, establishing depth and tone, applying the paint in methods more akin to that of a heavier medium. I use multiple organic textures and focus on incorporating light sources to bring my paintings to life.
