Luiza Grabda Pawluc
When working on a painting, it brings to life 'something' that is created, shapes and I am not able to predict the end result. I try to show something you can't see. I have only and only such a hunch. It is a process, it is expensive in itself.
In my paintings, I do not reflect the observed reality, but I draw from it what inspires me and provokes me to paint a picture.
I try to transform the reality in my imagination in order to be able to create some atmosphere, tell a story that would evoke emotions.
I'm all time inspired but something new, sometimes is an observed object, interiors. I also to reach the history of painting to the artists who inspired me.
I reach out to find different forms of expression owing to this I usually work in oil paints I like the rich structure of the painting, therefore I often use putty instead of a brush and dry pigment. I also use watercolor and mixed media.
