Biography

My mission when I first started painting ceramics was to brighten up everyone's kitchen and home with my quirky and one of a kind designs on ceramics. I wanted people to go round to their friends house and comment on their mugs/vases/plates/bowls. What I pride myself in is that every single product is hand-painted, you will never get two products the same! Every hedgehog, chicken, fox, flamingo on my ceramics are completely different! These are also products you will never found on the high street, they're so unique, and every time I open my kiln I take pride in my products and how they were created!

inspiration

I grew up on a working farm, so a lot of my inspiration for my designs are mainly taken from my childhood. Although my creations and inspiration comes from real life, my quirky bright designs are quite stylised and distinct as I want them to stand out from the rest and brighten up the kitchen and the home.

medium

I work with ceramics, and bisque pottery; using under glaze paints to create the bright colours you see in my designs and dipping glaze to make all my products food safe. I use many different applications to create my designs, from sponging to brushwork, dipping to finger prints!
