Resin trays with ink
Resin hearts with flowers
Crafting is of huge benefit to me, it’s calming, relaxing and enjoyable - something I love to share with others.
I have a huge passion for crafts and want to inspire others and show how creativity helps with your mental health and how anyone can achieve something personal, unique and inspirational.
My mission is to simply share my love of all things bright and colourful and joyful that we see in everyday life.
My vision is to bring more joy to others through my work and show that anyone can be creative and that it is an essential part of our lives that is so often missing.
My inspiration is taken from the world around me. I am inspired by the beauty of a colourful sunset, the waves crashing on the beach, the beautiful wild flowers growing in the nearby fields, a pattern on the cover of a book or in a brochure, wallpaper, food - even a jar of sweets.
My pieces are often filled with beautiful flowers picked locally, and shells and sand from the beach, as well as inks and pigments to add vibrancy.
I am inspired by colours, patterns, shapes and textures to create new pieces of work.
I work solely with resin and polymer clay. These mediums bring so much joy to me as they are so adaptable.
I incorporate so many items in resin – flowers, shells, sand, foils, powders, paint, inks, stickers, even food!
With clay, I stamp into the clay to create texture. I often add colour – in the form of powders, inks, paint, foils, and these are finished with resin or varnish to protect the elements within the clay.
What is fantastic about these mediums is that they create beautiful unique pieces. What I love is that I’m always learning new techniques with both clay and resin, and I believe it makes it so interesting to work with them.
