Jay Graham

Capturing the textures and details within nature and our urban environments in my own recognisable style.
Portraying through my art, the ever increasing overlap of nature into our urban settings and vice versa.

Jay finds his inspiration both within nature and urban settings, the beauty, the ugliness, the textures and patterns.
He brings these elements together as a whole, or isolated against bold backgrounds to speak for themselves.

Jay predominately uses acrylics and ink for studio based work on canvas and wood.
When working on larger outside murals on masonry or wood he will also use spray paint alongside his usual mediums for speed and coverage.
Jay has developed an illustration style for his larger works by using inks in various sizes of markers so he is able to retain the detail of his original works on paper.
