Spotted pieces

Plant pot in pink

I aim at creating beautiful pieces for everyday use in clay. I use high firing clays and glaze them with my own (home made) glazes. My work encompasses daily pieces like mugs but also plant pots.

Nature is my main inspiration, then Japanese and other ethnic arts. Cultural influences bring in new ways of using and shaping or I discover new variations on glazes.

I work mainly in stoneware. The pieces I make are either glazed or I use glass to create a colourful transparency on the surface. Those pieces are potentially more decorative and serve the purpose of bringing joy to one's home.
