Inspiration comes from colour and light playing on objects. Also creating a feeling of stillness and calm within the paintings.

The artist paints in oils enabling the use of blending and glazes to build depth and depth of colour. Still life paintings are always painted from life. The artist also uses etching technique to create etchings inspired by nature from sketchbook drawings.
