The Fall

My name is Bryan Beresford Kelly and I was born and educated in Ireland.

In the 1960s, I studied Garment Technology and Textiles at Leeds University and opened my first studio in Wexford, Ireland in 2007 working as a full time professional artist.

It was late in life when I discovered my love of painting and the fact that I could actually do it and took on a studio at East Lodge, Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa. I am now in the process of setting up a new studio to work from. So watch this space for news

I would describe my unique paintings as appealing more to the heart than to the head and hope they impart a 'feel-good' factor to you.

I do hope you enjoy viewing my 'Naive' paintings as much as I love painting them.

I admire, and am influenced by, the work of many artists including Van Gogh, Gauguin, Pissarro and early 'Naive' artists such as Grandma Moses, Pippin, Hicks and Irish artist Markey Robinson.

Oil on canvass
A mix of Naive and colourful pointillism, with a hint of fantasy and surrealism at times.
My paintings are not planned, I have rough idea and start painting and the picture just unfolds fro my mind
I enjoy people seeing my work and walking away smiling
