The Artist, aspires to create Work that is original, interesting and emotive, to be exhibited and purchased at exhibitions and online.

inspiration

The Artist is inspired by the world around us, the textural surfaces of old buildings and windows. Recently, she has experimented with landscapes and seascapes depicted in an impressionist or semi abstract way. Colour is a massive inspiration to the artist and during the first lockdown developed a series of semi abstract paintings based on Flowers.

medium

The Artists main medium is acrylic. She uses thick and thin layers to create texture and depth in her work, experimenting with mark making to emulate interesting surfaces.
