Ros Ingram - Bird

Alice Shepherd - To make a living from art is not always easy but I take a great deal of reward from the creative process. It is a pleasure to know the love and care I put in my work is transferred into the wider world.

Ros Ingram - Having studied and worked in clay for over 30 years I love the challenge of making something out of the ordinary and inspiring others to achieve their own creative goals.

Alice Shepherd is inspired by anything that grows, crawls or wags and in particular hedgerow inhabitants. Her brightly coloured ceramics also resonates her African roots.

Ros Ingram - I'm inspired by automaton, Alexander Calder, ecology and Picasso's sculptural ceramics.

Alice Shepherd works mainly in stoneware and hand-builds colourful animal shaped jugs and vessels decorated with slips and sgraffito designs inspired by the countryside.

Working from her studio in Alderminster Ros Ingram creates her memorable aquatic and avian creatures combining brightly coloured glazed porcelain and reclaimed domestic objects.
